sketch, tiny

by essayan hart

we share silences
and starlight
like other lovers
share breakfast

i am folding my hands
into your rough paws
bending my little lights
in the spaces

you lend your gaze
upward
and i lend my gaze
to the soft corner
of your jawline

fragile, in the evenings
we pretend we are not falling
just bravely getting lost
